Questions, corrections, and disagreements are all welcome, corrections especially. TorpidLife covers health topics where being wrong has real consequences, so if you spot an error, a stale citation, or a claim that outruns its evidence, it gets fixed and the change gets noted.

Send a message

If this is a correction, please point at the specific claim and, if you have one, the source that contradicts it.

What gets a reply

  • Corrections and factual challenges. Point at the specific claim and, if you have one, the source that contradicts it. These get priority over everything else.
  • Questions about something published here. If an article left a gap, that gap is useful to know about.
  • Topic suggestions. Particularly the specific, unglamorous problems that don’t get written about. Those are more useful than broad subject areas.

What doesn’t

  • Requests for personal medical advice. Not ignored out of rudeness; it would be irresponsible to answer. TorpidLife publishes general information, not clinical guidance, and no one here is in a position to advise on your particular situation. Please see a qualified professional. See the medical disclaimer.
  • Guest post and link-insertion pitches. The site doesn’t publish outside contributions or sell links, and won’t.
  • Sponsored content offers. If commercial relationships ever exist here, they will be disclosed and they will not buy editorial coverage. See how we research and test.

Product makers

If you make something in the desk, ergonomics, sleep, or focus space, you’re welcome to get in touch. Two things worth knowing before you do: sending a product creates no obligation to cover it and no obligation to be positive about it, and any product received is disclosed as such in the piece. If those terms don’t work for you, we’re not a fit.

Response times

TorpidLife is run by one person alongside other work. Corrections get looked at quickly. Everything else may take a while, and some messages won’t get an individual reply. That isn’t a judgement on the message.
